TOBA — SEGARIS.CO –The General Chairperson of Parsadaan Simanjuntak Sitolu Sada Ina dohot Boru (PSSSI-B) throughout Indonesia for the 2024-2029 period, Muchtar Simanjuntak, began his leadership with an important agenda.
Together with the management team, he held a pilgrimage to the grave of his ancestor, Sobosihon boru Sihotang, in Dusun I, Hutabulu Mejan Village, Balige, Toba Regency, Thursday (11/21/2024).
This pilgrimage was not only a tribute to the ancestors, but also a moment to socialize the new management.
The Head of the Local Committee, Paber Simanjuntak, said that Sobosihon boru Sihotang was an important figure for the descendants of the Mardaup, Sitombuk, and Hutabulu clans.
“Thank you to the PSSSI-B management for the support in this activity. We have purchased one hectare of land in front of the tomb of Opung Sobosihon to build the Parsaktian House. We hope that the new management can realize this ideal,” said Paber.
Consolidation for Long-Term Programs
The General Chairperson of PSSSI-B, Muchtar Simanjuntak, said that the initial period of his management would be focused on consolidating the organization and preparing long-term work programs.
“We are still in the stage of socializing the results of the Grand Conference (Mubes) which will be held on November 8, 2024 in Jakarta. The work program will be finalized after the management structure is complete,” explained Muchtar.
He highlighted the importance of uniting all Simanjuntak clans spread across various regions in Indonesia. This process is projected to take 6 to 12 months.
“This consolidation will be the foundation for formulating strategic programs, including the construction of the Parsaktian House in front of the tomb of Sobosihon boru Sihotang. This building is expected to become a cultural icon that makes the Toba people proud,” he added.
Data Integration and Administration
Currently, PSSSI-B is estimated to have around 100 thousand member families throughout Indonesia, with the Jabodetabek area contributing around 12-13 thousand families.
According to Muchtar, data collection from each region is a priority to create a solid administration system.
“Documents and databases from each region are very important to strengthen organizational unity.
Although there are differences in culture and local wisdom that influence ADRT in each region, we must seek harmony so that PSSSI-B remains integrated,” he explained.
First Steps Towards Unity
This pilgrimage activity is expected to be a solid initial foothold to strengthen the unity of the Simanjuntak Sitolu Sada Ina clan throughout Indonesia.
